Below are the goals for my Foundations of CollegeWriting Course.
For each goal, I've selected work that demonstrates how I addressed that goal during the course,
and explained how, citing specific examples from my work.

My explanation
Goal A -Students will be able to compose
for particular audiences and purposes
"I had the pleasure to interview, my favorite professor from last semester, Dr. Charles Starkey. He was my Intro to Elementary Education professor. Dr. Starkey is the chair of the education department here at Bloomsburg University. Through this interview, I realized all the different kinds of writing he does. He writes for many different audiences, and for many different purposes. I also got a feel for what I will be writing for and about in my future career as an educator. " - This shows that I was writing for future educators.
Goal B -Students will be able to compose using
language and conventions appropriate to genre
"She broke up with me :( " and "I gotta focus on my career." - While writing a diary entry a person wouldn't write in proper english, or have correct grammer. They also use faces to show how they feel.
Goal C -Students will be able to read, select, and use
evidence critically to formulate and support arguments
I researched information on Justin Bieber's success through searching for the awards that he has won since being discovered. I used that information to create a timeline of Justin's success. I used this timeline to support my argument of why Justin Bieber deserves the fame that he has.
Goal D -Students will be able to interpret and compose in
I write different kinds of writing cause I wrote a dairy entry pretending to be Justin Beiber upset about the break up of him and Selena Gomez. I also made a timeline of all of Justin Beibers accomplishments, but that is more of a picture then it is writing.
Goal E -Students will be able to describe and apply
appropriate writing processes, both individually
and in collaborative contexts
peer reivews
Peer reviews in class helped me to see my mistakes and come up with better ways and ideas of writing. My classmates helped me with all of my genres, and I used their advice to make my work even better.
